Background and editing
The source asks for a plain background. The rules do not allow digital changes to the photo, so the background has to be right when the photo is taken. Retake it against a plain wall instead of editing the background. PortraitPass keeps background replacement off by default for this document.
Rules from the source
- Photo size 45 mm high by 35 mm wide.
- Digital file up to 5 MB.
- Do not use a photo cut down from a larger picture.
- Do not edit the photo in software such as Photoshop.
Expression, lighting and how recent the photo is cannot be measured from a picture, so check them yourself.
Can you make it at home?
Yes. You capture and upload the photo yourself. Do not crop a larger picture or edit it in software; upload the untouched camera file.
