Accessibility
Built to work with a keyboard and a screen reader.
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA. This page says what works, what does not yet, and how to tell us.
What we do
- Every control can be used with the keyboard alone.
- The photo preview moves with the arrow keys; hold Shift for larger steps. Sliders offer the same positioning without dragging.
- Measurements are plain text with a symbol and a word, never colour alone.
- Light and dark themes, and reduced motion, are respected.
- Automated axe checks run on the studio in our test suite. They do not replace testing with real assistive technology.
Known limits
The preview is a picture, so its content is described but not readable as text. Pinch and drag gestures on the preview have keyboard and slider equivalents. Whether a photo looks right, for example expression or lighting, still needs your own eyes or a helper.
Tell us about a barrier
Open an issue at the project’s issue tracker and describe the page, your browser and assistive technology. Please do not attach photos.
